CRONULLA — In a stunning display of digital devotion and brand synergy, local influencer mum Chelsea Hartley, 32, has been caught publicly interacting with herself across multiple Instagram accounts — including the one she manages for her toddler, Willow-Rose, aged 2.5.
Followers of @willowrose_littledarling were recently treated to a post showing Willow on a swing at Gunnamatta Park with the caption: “Best mamma ever 🥺🌸✨” — a sentiment many assumed had come straight from the toddler’s tiny heart (and ring-lit phone). Moments later, Chelsea’s main account, @chelseaintheclouds, responded: “Aww love you to the moon and back baby girl 💕💫”
The post has since attracted dozens of likes, mostly from other influencer mums, one Labradoodle account, and Chelsea’s business page for artisanal nappy clutches.
Critics have raised eyebrows, noting the strange loop of motherly affirmation, while Chelsea insists it’s “just how Willow expresses herself — with filters and a clear brand voice.”
Social media expert and part-time juice cleanse coach Lara Jules called it “a complex example of parasocial parenting,” adding, “It’s basically like sending yourself a Mother’s Day card… daily… in the third person.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea is reportedly in talks to launch a podcast called “Mama and Me: Conversations With Myself”, described as a safe space for curated vulnerability and multi-platform bonding.
Local café owners report Chelsea and Willow-Rose have been seen reviewing babycinos for both accounts simultaneously.
