PRINCES HIGHWAY, MILTON - Following growing public concern, multiple panicked DMs, and direct inquiries from what sources describe as “Trevor the Dachshund’s unofficial fan club,” The Sutherland Shire Gazette can confirm Trevor the Dachshund is alive, well, and very much doing his own thing.

The concern arose earlier today after readers noticed Trevor’s absence from a recent image, prompting urgent questions including “WHERE IS TREVOR???” and “Can someone please confirm he’s breathing?”

After an intensive investigation lasting approximately nine minutes, the Shire Gazette has confirmed Trevor was last seen heading northbound but appears to have been delayed by a lengthy queue entering Milton, where witnesses say he made the most of the stopover.

Locals report Trevor enjoyed a home-baked dog biscuit at Dough Milton, before being spotted taking selfies with fans while dining near Pilgrims Milton, where he was observed politely judging several vegie burgers.

Our Foreign Correspondent believes Trevor eventually accepted a lift north with a family driving a Tesla, after declining offers from a Hilux ute and an Australia Post truck.

“He knows what he likes,” one witness said. “And what he doesn’t.”

Readers are advised there is no cause for alarm. Trevor remains hydrated, mildly smug, and entirely unconcerned by the attention.
